At the launch of the Tumko Meri Kasam trailer in Mumbai on Tuesday, Anupam Kher opened up about his first-time collaboration with the acclaimed director Vikram Bhatt. The film tells the inspiring story of Dr. Ajay Murdia. Anupam shared how he had always dreamed of working with Vikram and how the perfect project finally came along to make that happen. He expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I've always wanted to team up with Vikram Bhatt. I was just waiting for a fantastic story that would make my role worthwhile. What could be better than this? Ajay Ji's journey is truly inspiring, not just for families but for anyone who dedicates their life to helping others."

He also complimented Vikram Bhatt for his exceptional talent as a director and as a person. "Vikram is one of the best human beings and directors I've had the pleasure to work with. He creates such brilliance so effortlessly. I feel like I've found both a friend and a director in him. Now, he can't make a film without me—whether it's horror or anything else!"

Anupam humorously mentioned his relentless passion for acting, despite his extensive experience in the industry. "I still ask for work even now... even after 544 films. I continue to meet directors and request roles. I met Vikram at my office and told him, ‘Give me work,’ and he brought this film to me." Tumko Meri Kasam, featuring Anupam Kher, Ishwak Singh, Adah Sharma, and Esha Deol, is set to release in theaters on March 21, 2025.
