The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Anpodu Kanmani, have dropped its first poster, along with an update on its theatrical release, today (October 5). It has been confirmed that the movie, starring Arjun Ashokan in the lead role, will hit the big screen in November.
The poster also shows a glimpse into Arjun and female lead Anagha Narayanan's characters with a home pregnancy kit and tagline - It's completely science. It's complicated. The movie undoubtedly revolves around a couple, their romantic journey, the obstacles they encounter, as well as everything in between. There are currently no other Malayalam films scheduled for a November theatrical release. In the upcoming days, further details—such as a trailer—is anticipated.
Anpodu Kanmani release update
After forty days of shooting, the team concluded the filming on January 28 of this year. The movie began production on December 11. Lijo Thomas, who previously directed the Asif Ali film Kavi Udheshichathu, has helmed this film. The makers of the film said it will be a full-fledged entertainer with a few intriguing elements.
The supporting cast included Johny Antony, Maala Parvathi, Navas Vallikkunnu, Althaf Salim, and Unni Raja. Anpodu Kanmani also stars Mridul Nair, the filmmaker best known for helming Kasargold and B Tech, in a major part. Sunil S Pillai handled the film's editing, and Sarin Raveendran is the director of photography. The project features music composed by Samuel Aby.
Arjun Ashokan's upcoming films
With a handful of box office successes at the start of the year, including Abraham Ozler and Bramayugam, the young star has had a busy 2024. Once Upon A Time in Kochi was his most recent theatrical release. Arjun has a couple more flicks coming out this year. Ennu Swantham Punyalan, Anand Sreebala, and Bromance are some of his forthcoming films. On October 25, Pallotty 90's Kids, in which Arjun plays a major part along with Balu Varghese, will be released in theatres.
