Anjali on Zee 5's Bahishkarana

Well, she has taken things to another level now as she is all set to play yet another crazy role in her latest web series, Bahishkarana. The crime drama is all set to stream on Zee 5 and OTTplay Premium from July 19, 2024. 

The makers released the teaser a few days ago, and it has caught the attention of many. Anjali was seen in a very intense role doing gory killing and ripping apart people's necks. Anjali plays a courtesan who goes all out to find redemption in her life and chooses a gory path

Anjali to play a very bold role in Bahishkarana

Speaking about the show, Anjali says that Bahishkarana came to her at a time when she was looking to play dark roles and lapped it up right away. "My role in Bahishkarana will shock you big time. You would have never seen me in such a brutal role ever in my career, and that is one of the major reasons that makes this series quite special," says Anjali.

Adding further, Anjali thanks the makers for choosing her in such an intense role in the first place. "I was playing girl next-door roles in my career, and the manner in which the makers imagined me in such a role is something that makes me think even to date. In a way, my character will haunt you for a few days after watching the show," adds Anjali.

Ravindra Vijay and Sritej play vital roles in this series, which is set in the 90s era in the Guntur region. Directed by Mukesh Prajapathi, Bahishkarana is made on a decent budget and Zee5 has been promoting it in an aggressive manner. Well, we need to see what Anjali has in store for us, and for now, the teaser showcasing her in a solid avatar has shocked everyone.
