Ananya Panday on Chunky Panday's films
In a recent interview, Ananya Panday revealed that she rarely watched her dad Chunky Panday's movies when she was young. She also mentioned that his films left her traumatized as his characters often died in the films.
In a new interview with We Are Yuvaa, Ananya said, "I remember when I was young and saw D Company, and suddenly you got shot and died in the movie. I thought it was actually happening, even though you were sitting right next to me. I was traumatized, so I didn't watch too many of your movies because I thought you were going to die in all of them."
The Gehraiyaan actress also talked about how she thought a lot like her dad when she wanted to become an actor because the kind of movies she watched were massy and commercial ones. "I still love those! That was all I could see. I didn't know there was anything else to do. That's probably in my DNA, she added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in Netflix's CTRL and Prime Video's Call Me Bae. She will next be seen in Dharma Productions' Chand Mera Dil, also starring Lakshya. She will also star in an untitled film alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, also backed by Karan Johar's production house. She also has the second season of Call Me Bae in her kitty.
