Ameesha Patel Confirms Collaboration with Roshans During "Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai" Re-release

Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is now playing in theaters, letting fans experience the enchanting chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta once again. At the same time, Preity revealed that she’s involved in Hrithik's significant upcoming project, The Roshans. While the docu-series will mainly spotlight the Roshan family, Ameesha has also confirmed her participation in it.

What’s Ameesha Patel’s connection to The Roshans?

Ameesha shared with News18 that she's involved with The Roshans. "In my own small way, I’m a bit of it too. How could I not be? I’m part of Hrithik’s journey," she mentioned. This news comes just as her and Hrithik’s first film, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, is making a comeback in theaters and getting the same love it did back in 2000.

Ameesha shared that Hrithik was super patient with her back in their Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai days. She was new to the industry and didn’t really know the ropes, while he was already familiar with it all. He was there for her every step of the way, even helping her with costume fittings. Because of that, she feels they’ve built a friendship that goes beyond just being co-stars, and that bond is still strong today.

She also mentioned how close she is with 'The Roshans.' Rakesh Roshan was really proud of the success of Gadar 2, especially since he didn’t even have her audition for Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Hrithik still calls her 'heroine' because she was his first leading lady. "To me, he’ll always be Duggu, and Rakesh uncle will always be Guddu uncle," she added.
