Amar Kaushik is currently basking in the blockbuster success of Stree 2. Amid this, he is gearing up to co-produce Ayushmann Khurrana’s next co-starring Rashmika Mandanna which will be a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe. In a new interview, the filmmaker revealed the title of the film and also shared shooting details.

Speaking to India Today, Amar Kaushik confirmed that the upcoming vampire film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna has been titled Thamba. He also added, “We will begin shooting for it in the next two months.” 

The director also mentioned that he is very excited for fans to see what they have in store for them in the universe.

Speaking about Bhediya 2, the director told the portal, “The script is not locked yet, but we have written the story, and now we need to develop the screenplay." He also mentioned that he is not satisfied with a few parts of the story and the team is currently working on that.

The film will see Varun Dhawan return. However, there is no confirmation on Kriti Sanon’s return to the franchise.

Amar Kaushik on Stree 3

In an interview with an online media, director Amar Kaushik was asked whether fans will get Stree 3 or not. 

He shared, “There is a possibility. There’s story still left to be told, and characters left to be explored. A call will be taken after the film’s [Stree 2] release. There is a possibility of Stree 3, 4 and 5."

Meawhile, Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana is running at a theater near you!
