Sukumar's film, Pushpa 2: The Rule (Reloaded Version), featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, premiered on Netflix on January 30. Initially released in theaters on December 5, the film garnered over ₹1831 crore globally, attracting a significant international audience following its digital debut. Netflix has now disclosed the extensive reach of Pushpa 2, which has not only secured a position in the global top 10 but has also been trending in 14 countries for two consecutive weeks.

Pushpa 2 dominates Netflix charts

According to Netflix, Pushpa 2: The Rule (Reloaded Version) has excelled in the global streaming charts, marking its second consecutive week on the platform's list of Global Top Ten Films (Non-English). The film currently holds the third position worldwide and continues to trend in 14 countries, amassing a total of 9.4 million views over the past two weeks.

Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the narrative established in Pushpa: The Rise, depicting Pushpa Raj's evolution from a daily wage laborer to the leader of a red sandalwood smuggling operation. Rashmika portrays his wife, Srivalli, who fiercely defends him against his estranged family. Fahadh assumes the role of police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, who is still grappling with the disgrace he endured in the previous installment. The film concludes by laying the groundwork for a new storyline in Pushpa 3: The Rampage.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in partnership with Sukumar Writings, the film features a cast that includes Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, and Ajay. Pushpa 2 Reloaded incorporates an additional 23 minutes of footage, bringing the total runtime to 3 hours and 44 minutes.
