This film has set a new benchmark as the highest-grossing project in Allu Arjun's career, surpassing the achievements of its predecessor. Given the actor's substantial fan following in Tamil Nadu, it is highly anticipated that Pushpa 2 will continue to perform exceptionally well in the days ahead.

Pushpa 2 is both written and directed by Sukumar. The film features Rashmika Mandanna in the leading female role and Fahadh Faasil as the primary antagonist. This sequel follows the events of Pushpa: The Rise and focuses on a minor red sanders smuggler who aspires to establish his own empire. The narrative primarily highlights the conflict between Allu Arjun’s character, Pushpa Raj, and Fahadh Faasil’s character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for Pushpa 2. Considering the film's current success in crowded theaters throughout India, it is improbable that an OTT release will occur in the near future. However, viewers interested in streaming the first installment can find it available on Prime Video.
