Tentatively titled AA22 and A6, this project will be produced by Sun Pictures, marking their inaugural collaboration with a Telugu actor.

Allu Arjun's latest film, Pushpa: The Rule, has set new box office records, establishing itself as one of the top-grossing films of the previous year. In light of this success, Allu Arjun officially announced a new project on his birthday this past Tuesday.

The speculation has been confirmed: the Pushpa star will collaborate with director Atlee on a film produced by Sun Pictures. This project not only marks the first partnership between Atlee and Allu Arjun but also represents the production company's initial venture with an actor who is not primarily associated with the Tamil film industry. Atlee, known for his work with prominent stars in films such as Theri, Bigil, and Raja Rani, is returning to directing after a two-year hiatus, with his last project being the 2023 Hindi action drama Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan.

A video captures Allu Arjun, the Ala Vaikunthapurramloo star, meeting Atlee and Dayanidhi Maaran at the latter's office as the team prepares for a trip to the United States. At the LOLA VFX office, Allu Arjun and Atlee engage with technicians to initiate pre-production activities. One technician, who has reviewed the script, remarks, "My head is still spinning," while Allu Arjun experiments with various equipment and creature props. Additionally, body scans of Allu Arjun are conducted for AA22, which is anticipated to be a high-budget film.

Atlee, originally from Tamil Nadu and a former assistant to Shankar, has ascended to the ranks of top directors in India. On the other hand, Allu Arjun, who achieved pan-Indian acclaim with Pushpa, had already established himself as a household name through earlier successes such as Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Aarya.
