It is now confirmed! Tollywood actor Allu Arjun will join forces with Tamil director Atlee for an ambitious project, provisionally named #AA22xA6. The film's producers unveiled the announcement during a special event celebrating Allu Arjun's 43rd birthday, generating immense excitement among fans.

Allu Arjun and Atlee's film announced officially

On Tuesday, Sun Pictures announced via Twitter the forthcoming pan-India film featuring Allu Arjun and Atlee, described as an unprecedented sci-fi action movie. The announcement video showcased Kalanithi Maran meeting with both the actor and the director, confirming his support for the project. Subsequently, Atlee and Allu Arjun traveled to Los Angeles to collaborate with the animation and VFX team. In the footage, the actor is also shown experimenting with different masks and engaging with equipment that simulates 3D characters.

What the team has to say about the film's script

VFX supervisor James Madigan, recognized for his contributions to films such as Iron Man 2 and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, discussed the project in a recent video, stating, “I just read the script and I’ve got to say, my head is still spinning.” Mike Elizalde, Artistic Director at Spectral Motion, remarked, “The script is truly unlike anything I’ve encountered before. It represents the pinnacle of what I aspire to create.”

Justin Raleigh, an Academy Award-winning CEO of Fractured FX, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “As I read through it, I’m thrilled about the array of potential creatures and diverse character options.” William Wright Anderson, co-owner of Lola VFX, known for his work on Deadpool & Wolverine, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, and Stranger Things, added, “I am eager to be involved in this project. I look forward to seeing how his vision unfolds. The narrative is extraordinary.”

In promoting the video, Sun Pictures stated: “Prepare for the Landmark Cinematic Event. #AA22xA6 - A Magnum Opus from Sun Pictures. @alluarjun @Atlee_dir #SunPictures #AA22 #A6.”
