Director Payal Kapadia announced this on her X account, responding to numerous fans who advocated for improved showtimes and mentioned her in their comments. The film originally premiered in theatres throughout India on November 22.

Payal took to her X account to express, “Do not postpone your viewing for OTT releases. Cinema should be experienced in theatres as well.” In response to a fan's inquiry about the possibility of additional screenings for the celebrated film, she stated in a subsequent post, “Returning this Friday to select cinemas!”
The director additionally stated, “Numerous individuals have expressed interest in screenings within their cities. If you wish for the film to return, kindly tag a local cinema that is active on social media. Your support would be immensely beneficial!”

Payal has also disseminated a screenshot displaying the two screenings of the film currently taking place in Mumbai, stating, “BACK IN MUMBAI FOR THIS WEEKEND. All We Imagine As Light narrates the story of Prabha, a nurse grappling with personal challenges who unexpectedly receives a gift from her estranged husband, alongside Anu, her young roommate who is in search of closeness with her boyfriend. Their journey to a coastal town enables them to face their innermost desires and emotions. The film features performances by Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Chhaya Kadam.
