The theatrical release of All We Imagine As Light is approaching in India. The most recent sources state that the film will be released in theatres in November. But the makers are yet to reveal the precise release date. Recently, the movie had a few limited showings in Kochi, Kerala. Spirit Media, a production company owned by Rana Daggubati, has acquired the exclusive rights to release the Payal Kapadia directorial in India.

This year at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, the film won the Grand Prix, which is the second-most prestigious award after the Palme d'Or. Payal made history as the first Indian to be awarded the award. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mohanlal, Dulquer Salmaan, and Mammootty were among the celebs who praised the team for receiving the prize.
The stories of Prabha and Anu, two Malayali nurses working at a busy Mumbai suburb hospital, are told in this Indo-French film. After receiving an unexpected present from her separated spouse, Prabha begins to question her existence and feel disengaged. Her flatmate Anu, who is trying to explain her decisions to her parents and enjoy her independence away from home, is lost in her own world. Many film festivals have given praise to the team since its premiere. Anand Sami, Azees Nedumangad, Chhaya Kadam, and Hridhu Haroon are among the supporting cast members.
