Alia Bhatt's New Young-Adult Web Series?
For those who might not know, Alia Bhatt ventured into production with her company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. As she continues to shine in her acting career, she’s also dedicated to expanding her production portfolio. According to a report from Mid-Day, Alia is currently developing a new web series in partnership with Amazon Prime Video. This will be her second collaboration with the platform, following Poacher (2024).
Sources indicate that the final draft of the upcoming series, which is backed by RRR, is already underway, and it will focus on a young-adult theme. One insider shared, “It’s a high-concept young adult series set in an urban Indian college—think slice-of-life meets coming-of-age. The story is told from the perspective of two young couples.” The casting process is reportedly already in motion.

Alia Bhatt is reportedly dedicated to supporting new talent. "Alia aims for the show to have an authentic vibe. She believes the selected cast should be genuine 20-somethings that the audience can connect with. The series will introduce four new faces," shared a source from the casting team.
If everything goes as scheduled, filming for the series should kick off later this year. In the meantime, Eternal Sunshine Productions has more on its plate. They are also working on adapting Manju Kapur’s novel, Difficult Daughters, with Sonu Razdan directing. Plus, Alia’s sister, Shaheen Bhatt, is developing a show under the same banner.
