Alappuzha Gymkhana vs Bazooka Box Office Collection Day 5: This year, three eagerly awaited Malayalam films competed at the Vish box office, with Mammootty’s Bazooka being the most prominent release. Naslen’s Alappuzha Gymkhana and Basil Joseph’s Maranamass also performed well at the box office. However, Naslen's film has taken the lead, surpassing Mammootty’s action thriller. Naslen His winning streak at the box office continues, as his latest Malayalam film, Alappuzha Gymkhana, has proven to be a significant draw for audiences. This sports comedy, directed by Khalid Rahman, has generated Rs 16 crore within its first five days, according to Sacnilk. The film features Lukman Avaran and Ganapathi S. Poduval and revolves around a group of young individuals striving to gain college admission through the sports quota.
In contrast, Mammootty’s Bazooka has fallen to the second position, earning Rs 10.34 crore over the same five-day period.

Naslen-led The sports comedy debuted with a collection of Rs 2.65 crore on April 10, and its earnings demonstrated a consistent upward trend in the subsequent days. The figures were as follows: Day 2 - Rs 2.8 crore, Day 3 - Rs 3.5 crore, Day 4 - Rs 3.65 crore, and Day 5 - Rs 3.40 crore.
In contrast, Bazooka appears to be experiencing a downward trend in its box office collections. It started strong with Rs 3.2 crore but subsequently faced a decline: Day 2 - Rs 2.1 crore, Day 3 - Rs 2 crore, Day 4 - Rs 1.7 crore, and Day 5 - Rs 1.34 crore. This action-packed thriller also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon in a significant role.

Maranamass, directed by Basil Joseph, is also performing well, having accumulated Rs 8.97 crore over five days. Co-produced by Tovino Thomas, the film has consistently generated more than Rs 1 crore in revenue. This marks Basil Joseph's third theatrical release this year, following Pravinkoodu Shappu and Ponman, both of which have debuted on OTT platforms.
