Sky Force box office opening forecast: January has proven to be an exceptionally active month for Hindi cinema, characterized by a steady stream of releases every Friday, featuring films produced on a substantial scale. Last week, audiences witnessed the debut of Emergency, starring Kangana Ranaut, alongside Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani’s Azaad. These two films competed for box office attention; however, neither has succeeded in making a significant impact, as both are experiencing a rather tepid reception. This Friday, the focus will shift to Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, who are poised to present their ensemble drama Sky Force to audiences. Current predictions suggest that this film may overshadow Emergency and Azaad, which are already facing challenges in achieving financial success.

Sky Force Box Office Prediction

Fans of the stars are eagerly anticipating every update regarding Sky Force, which is scheduled to premiere on January 24. The film features Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur, marking Veer’s debut and generating considerable excitement. According to Pinkvilla, the film is projected to achieve an opening day collection of ₹9 crore if it maintains its current trajectory. Furthermore, if the film receives a strong opening and continues to perform well at the box office, it could potentially reach an opening weekend collection of approximately ₹30 crore.

The film's release coincides with the Republic Day holiday, which could significantly enhance its performance, provided the audience response is favourable. Should this occur, Sky Force is likely to overshadow both Emergency and Azaad. Given that Emergency has opened with a weekend collection of ₹8.74 crore and Azaad has yet to surpass the ₹5 crore mark, it is evident that if Sky Force succeeds, the other two films may quickly diminish from the cinematic landscape.

Sky Force Rating and Runtime Revealed

Featuring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur in prominent roles, Sky Force is an action drama centred on the Air Force, directed by Sandeep Kewlani. The recently released trailer received a favourable reception, and the production team has been actively maintaining interest in the film. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande, the film has now been assigned a UA 13+ rating by the CBFC, with a runtime that is notably shorter than Akshay's other films.

According to Pinkvilla, Sky Force has successfully cleared the Central Board of Film Certification and has been awarded a UA 13+ rating, which is expected to positively impact the film's reception. Additionally, the movie has been approved with a runtime of 125 minutes, equating to 2 hours and 5 minutes. This may potentially mark it as the shortest film featuring Akshay Kumar in recent years. However, the producers have not yet provided any official confirmation regarding this matter.
