In Chapter 2 of Kesari, Akshay Kumar portrays the character of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, who stands against the British Empire, while R. Madhavan plays the British lawyer Neville McKinley. The cast also includes Regina Cassandra as Sankaran Nair's spouse, along with Simon Paisley Day, Alexx O'Nell, and Steven Hartley.
