Kesari Chapter 2 narrates the legal struggle of attorney C. Sankaran Nair as he seeks to reveal the truth surrounding the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919, challenging the British Empire. The film has received acclaim from both audiences and critics alike.

According to Sacnilk, the film generated Rs. 9.50 crore on its second day, bringing its total earnings to Rs. 17.25 crore thus far. It is anticipated that the film will surpass the Rs. 20 crore threshold by the end of its third day.

Kesari Chapter 2 cast

In Chapter 2 of Kesari, Akshay Kumar portrayed the character of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair. R. Madhavan took on the role of Neville McKinley, a lawyer representing the British side, while Ananya Panday played Dilreet Gill, a lawyer who supported Nair. Regina Cassandra appeared as Palat Kunhimalu Amma, Nair's wife. The cast also features Simon Paisley Day, Alexx O'Nell, and Steven Hartley.

The film, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Aruna Bhatia, Adar Poonawalla, Anand Tiwari, and Amritpal Singh Bindra.
