Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan might not have worked at the Box Office when it released in theatres but it looks like the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is working on OTT. The latest list unveiled by Ormax Media for the week of June 7-13 suggests that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is among the most streamed theatrical releases on OTT this week. Unfortunately though, it is the second most loved.

BMCM works on OTT

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff reprised the original movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Govinda and Amitabh Bachchan. The David Dhawan directorial was on the comical side, while Ali Abbas Zafar went for action. Despite it not working in theatres, BMCM is the second most loved theatrical release on OTT.

Ajay Devgn beats Akshay Kumar

Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan is the most loved theatrical release of the week. The movie, out on Prime Video, tells the tale of a football legend who made the sport popular in India back then and took the country on the world map with it. The story is about the football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who was active for a decade, from 1952 to 1962.

Crew for the win

Starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon, Crew became a popular film when it released in theatres too. The movie, led by three women, was loved by most and worked at the Box Office for the longest time. Now that it is on OTT, Crew, helmed by Rajesh A Krishnan, is loved even on Netflix.

Latest release

Vidya Balan-Pratik Gandhi’s Do Aur Do Pyaar is now out on Disney+Hotstar. The movie also stars Sendhil Ramamurthy and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles. It is inspired from Azazel Jacobs's The Lovers (2017) and talks about extra-marital affairs and their impact on the current marriage(s).
