A recently leaked image of Akshay Kumar from the sets of Bhooth Bangla has drawn comparisons to the character Chote Pandit from the Bhool Bhulaiyaa series. While this character is famously portrayed by Rajpal Yadav and is distinct in nature, some fans have noted a resemblance. Notably, Akshay Kumar has not appeared in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise since the original film, as Kartik Aaryan took over the role of Rooh Baba in the subsequent two films.

While many were reminded of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, others also remembered Akshay's character in Dishoom through the very look.

Akshay Kumar-Priyadarshan return with Hera Pheri 3 too

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are set to collaborate once again for Hera Pheri 3. Although the film was nearly ready to begin production, it was the partnership on Bhooth Bangla that prompted Priyadarshan to confirm his return as director for Hera Pheri 3. The film will feature the original trio: Raju (played by Akshay), Babu Bhaiya (Paresh Rawal), and Shyam (Suniel Shetty). Additionally, both Tabu and Gulshan Grover will reprise their roles in the franchise. However, production on Hera Pheri 3 will commence only after Akshay and Priyadarshan complete their work on Bhooth Bangla, indicating that there will be a delay before filming begins for Hera Pheri 3.
