Vidaamuyarchi is an exciting action thriller that brings together Ajith Kumar and director Magizh Thirumeni for the first time. Produced by Lyca Productions, it was initially set to release during the Pongal season in 2025. However, the film has been pulled from the Pongal lineup due to some undisclosed production challenges. The latest buzz suggests that Vidaamuyarchi is still on track for a January 2025 release, aiming for a special debut around Republic Day.

All about Vidaamuyarchi

A film directed by Magizh Thirumeni follows a middle-aged guy on an exciting quest to track down his missing wife, who has vanished under strange circumstances. Ajith Kumar takes on the lead role in Vidaamuyarchi, with Trisha Krishnan playing his wife. This project is highly awaited as it marks the first time Ajith is working with director Magizh Thirumeni, and it’s loosely inspired by the 1997 American movie, Breakdown.

Arjun Sarja plays the main villain, while the cast also includes Regina Cassandra, Arav, Sravan, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, Ganesh, and others in supporting roles. The music and original score are crafted by Anirudh Ravichander. The film's cinematography is handled by Om Prakash and Nirav Shah, with editing by NB Srikanth. Vidaamuyarchi is brought to life by Lyca Productions.
