Vidaamuyarchi box office collection day 3: Magizh Thirumeni's Tamil version of the 1997 American film Breakdown premiered in theaters on Thursday. As reported by Sacnilk, the film, featuring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, is projected to have garnered a net collection of ₹10.52 crore in India to date.

The website indicates that the film generated approximately ₹10.52 crore net in India on its third day of release, resulting in a cumulative total of around ₹46.77 crore net, nearing the ₹50 crore mark. In contrast, Vidaamuyarchi achieved ₹26 crore on its opening day; however, its collections experienced a decline of 60.58% on Friday, earning only ₹10.25 crore net. Over the course of two days, the film accumulated ₹66 crore globally, with ₹22.10 crore sourced from international markets. On Saturday, the film recorded an occupancy rate of 32.92% during morning screenings and 44.42% in the afternoon.

Trisha goes down memory lane

Trisha shared a video on her Instagram, providing fans with a glimpse into the filming process through various behind-the-scenes images and clips. She expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "Legit, one of the best rides (pun intended) I’ve had with this fantabulous team making this film. Thank you team #vidaamuyarchi," in reference to the road film. Additionally, she was present at the premiere of the film, attending the first-day, first-show at a single-screen theater in Chennai alongside her co-star Regena Cassandra and several other members of the team.
