Box office earnings for Good Bad Ugly

The trade website shared that Good Bad Ugly raked in around ₹20.46 crore net in India on its first Sunday, bringing its total for the opening weekend to ₹84.46 crore net. The film kicked off with a strong ₹29.25 crore net on its opening day and experienced a significant drop of 48.72% on Friday, earning ₹15 crore.

However, Saturday saw a rebound with a 31.67% increase, netting ₹19.75 crore. The film maintained its momentum on Sunday as well. By Saturday, Good Bad Ugly had already surpassed the ₹100 crore milestone, accumulating ₹112.50 crore globally.

Currently, Good Bad Ugly ranks as the third-highest-grossing Tamil film of the year, having recently overtaken Madha Gadha Raja and Veera Dheera Sooran. It still has to contend with Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi and Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, which is currently leading the pack. With Suriya’s Retro set to release in May, it will be interesting to see where Good Bad Ugly ultimately lands.

All About Good Bad Ugly

The Hindustan Times review of the film states that "Good Bad Ugly" doesn't shy away from showing its true colors—it's loud, extravagant, and clearly designed to showcase its leading star. The film relies significantly on Ajith Kumar's charm and his commanding presence on screen, but underneath the flashy exterior and fanfare, there's a very thin plot that struggles with its pacing. In "Good Bad Ugly," Ajith portrays a gangster named AK, also known as Red Dragon, who is pulled out of retirement when his son's life is in danger.
