The latest reports state that Ajayante Randam Moshanam, which was recently delayed because of a legal dispute, will be released this year during the Onam season. Krithi Shetty, the movie's lead actress, posted a picture of the movie poster in front of a theatre with the caption "coming soon" on Instagram. People are getting more excited about this film's release because Tovino has also reposted it.

Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan are the main characters in the movie; they are all supposedly trying to protect the biggest treasure in the area. In the film, Tovino Thomas will take on three roles for the first time in his career. The high-budget period drama is at the top of the list of Malayalam's upcoming highly anticipated projects this year.

What was the legal issue over ARM?

According to recent reports, UGM Movies, the production company that finances Ajayante Randam Moshanam, is the target of a lawsuit filed by an Ernakulam resident. The complaint states that the petitioner paid Rs 3.2 crore for the film's production. The petitioner further asserts that he was never given ownership of the film and that it was secretly transferred to another individual.

Reports also state that the Ernakulam sessions court has issued an order suspending director Jithin Lal's financial transactions. Following this, all major business contracts related to the movie—including those for its theatrical, OTT streaming, satellite, and distribution—have been placed on indefinite hold. If this is the case, the period drama's release might also be postponed until the creators come to a mutually agreeable settlement regarding the legal matters.

Tovino’s Identity to be a 2024 Christmas release

Identity, which was supposed to make its big-screen debut in September during Onam, is reportedly getting ready for Christmas 2024 release. Regarding the film's release, the creators have not given any more details. The crime thriller is reportedly preparing for a pan-Indian release in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Mandira Bedi, Vinay Rai, and Trisha Krishnan have significant roles in the movie.
