If a report by Pinkvilla is to be believed, Ajay Devgn is set to commence filming for the sequels De De Pyaar De 2 and Son of Sardar 2 in London from June onwards. He will finish shooting for Singham Again and Raid 2 by the end of May, with both films scheduled to be released later in 2024. After wrapping up these projects, he will travel to London in June to start production on De De Pyaar De 2 and then Son of Sardar 2.

What is the De De Pyaar De franchise?

The creators recently revealed that De De Pyaar De 2, starring Ajay Devgn, will hit theaters on May 1, 2025, coinciding both with International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day. The original film, released in 2019, was a romantic comedy featuring Ajay, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh. It was written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali. Filming for the sequel will commence in June under the direction of debutant Anshul Sharma. Ranjan and Tarun Jain wrote the screenplay for De De Pyaar De 2, which is produced by T-Series and Luv Films.

Ajay Devgn plans to revive his Son of Sardaar character in a sequel titled Son of Sardar 2. According to Times Now, Devgn aims to establish the film as a franchise. The actor and his team have finalized the storyline and are expected to commence production in 2024, thus expanding the Son of Sardar universe.
