Rohit Shetty’s action film Singham Again is one of the highly anticipated films of 2024. Recently, the officials reconfirmed that the movie will be released as per the schedule. Despite clashing with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the makers have decided to opt for the Diwali 2024 release. Ajay Devgn's Singham Again is the Desi Avengers?
Singham Again is touted to be the biggest cop film in Hindi cinema. The upcoming action-packed thriller is gearing up for the grand release. Ajay as the hot-headed cop Bajirao Singham will soon be returning with his team after shooting extensively for 157 days in different locations, including Mumbai, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka. According to Pinkvilla, Singham Again is the Avengers of the Cop Universe as it brings a unique story arc that connects each character like Simmba, Sooryavanshi, Lady Singham, and Satya seamlessly. It is similar to the first of the many Avengers films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it carves a pivotal narrative for the Cop Universe.
The source told the portal, “Singham Again is not just a universe film for the sake of it as every character is a part of the story for a reason. Rohit and his team of writers have carved a storyline that seamlessly integrates Simmba, Sooryavanshi, Lady Singham, and Satya to the world in and around Singham. It’s bigger than the biggest, and the audience will get a glimpse at the world of Singham Again with the trailer in October."
When will the makers release assets of Singham Again?
The source further said that the upcoming movie will set up the future course of the timeline in the cop universe. “Singham Again sets up the future course of timeline for the cop universe as it opens up a lot of sub-plots for Simmba, Sooryavanshi, Lady Singham, and Satya too. With the OG, Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, the third part of the Singham franchise can be equated as the first of the many Avengers films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” the source added.
According to the sources, the Diwali 2024 release date seems ideal for the narrative that draws inspiration from Ramayana as Ajay Devgn will be returning as the fierce cop, Bajirao Singham. The source shared, “It’s the return of Bajirao Singham as the angry young cop. Rohit Shetty has portrayed Ajay Devgn like the hero who has been missing from the Hindi Cinema for a while now.”
The report further revealed that the makers are working on the VFX effects and that the assets will be released around 30–35 days ahead of the big release.
