When you know that Ajay Devgn-R. Madhavan’s Shaitaan is out on OTT, it is certain that the film will become the most viewed on the web. The new list unveiled by Ormax Media for the week of May 3-9 proves the very thing. Shaitaan has managed to even push Yami Gautam’s Article 370 down a spot to be the highest viewed film on OTT this week.

Shaitaan most loved theatrical release on OTT

Shaitaan, featuring R. Madhavan, Ajay Devgn, Jyothika and Janki Bodiwala in the lead roles, is the most viewed theatrical release on OTT this week. The same does not come as a surprise since Shaitaan is the biggest hit of the year so far. The movie, directed by Vikas Bahl, is the Hindi adaptation of the Gujarati film Vash, which also featured Janki in the lead role.

Article 370 pushed down

Yami Gautam’s Article 370, which is about the aberration of the same from the Indian Constitution, was leading on the list till last week. The movie has now been pushed to the second spot, thanks to Shaitaan’s entry on OTT. It is to be noted that Shaitaan is still running in limited theatres, despite its web release.

Crakk still on the list

Vidyut Jammwal-Arjun Rampal’s Crakk has still held on when it comes to the list of most viewed theatrical releases on OTT. The film did not work in theatres but has been a constant on the list ever since it released on Disney+Hotstar.

The latest offering

8 A.M. Metro, featuring Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles, is the latest offering and is available on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. The Raj Rachakonda directorial released on OTT on Friday, May 10. Whether the film makes it to the list or not next week, remains to be seen.
