We had earlier reported that ZEE5 is gearing up for the release of its mythological thriller series titled Aindham Vedham. The platform on Friday, released the trailer of the series on social media. The series will premiere on October 25 and will be available on OTTplay Premium as well. It is directed by filmmaker Naga.

Aindham Vedham is an upcoming Tamil web series which is billed to be a mythological thriller series. The trailer of the same has been unveiled by the makers on social media on Friday. Scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on October 25, the series is directed by Naga, renowned for his iconic 90's mythological thriller Marmadesam. The series will also be available on OTTplay Premium app available on Google Play Store and App Store.
The trailer begins with various mysterious shots, with a voiceover says that once in every 1000 years, planets align on a particular line, which will result in a wonder. We are also told about the fifth Veda, as we see different characters introduced, with each of them facing a conflict of their own. An IP theft, a person who is looking to change destiny, mankind being doomed, are some of the instances sprinkled through the trailer.

Aindham Vedham follows the story of Anu who goes to Varanasi to perform her mother's last rites. There, she meets a mysterious figure who entrusts her with an ancient relic, urging her to deliver it to a priest in Tamil Nadu—an object that could unlock the secrets of the elusive Fifth Veda. As she races against time and evil forces, she has to thread a risky path. With time running out and an unknown entity pursuing her, Anu must race against the clock to complete her mission and escape the looming danger.
Produced by Abirami Media Works, the upcoming series features an ensemble star cast including, Sai Dhansika, Santosh Pratap, Vivek Rajagopal, Y.G. Mahendra, Krisha Kurup, Ramjee, Devadarshini, Mathew Varghese, and Ponvannan. The series will be available in both Tamil and Telugu.
The technical crew consists of cinematographer Srinivasan Devarajan, with edits handled by Rejeesh MR. Revaa has scored the music.
