Sanal Kumar Sasidharan announced on Facebook that his film A'hr Kayattam, featuring Manju Warrier, will be available for online streaming starting January 23, 2025. In his post, he provided a link to his Google Drive, where viewers can access the film. Additionally, he included a link for the English subtitles, noting that the film was co-produced by Manju Warrier.

Sanal Kumar further revealed that the movie was filmed in 2019 using an iPhone.

Sanal Kumar Sasidharan is the writer and director of A'hr Kayattam. The film features Gourav Raveendran, Sujith Koyikkal, and Bhupendra Khuran, and is set against the backdrop of the Himalayas.

The narrative centers on a middle-aged woman who embarks on a trek to the Himalayas accompanied by a young man. Described as an experimental film, it explores profound themes related to identity and existence.

A’hr Kayattam follows Vazhakku

Sanal Kumar previously released his film Vazhakku, featuring Tovino Thomas, online, similar to A'hr Kayattam. Both films have encountered various controversies. Vazhakku, which includes performances by Kani Kusruti, Sudev Nair, and Azees Nedumangad, received recognition at the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards. However, a disagreement arose between the filmmaker and the lead actor, leading to the film's online release.

Sanal Kumar Sasidharan gained prominence after his film Ozhivudivasathe Kali won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film in 2015. His other significant works include Chola and Sexy Durga, the latter of which also faced its share of controversies.
