KA is Kiran Abbavaram's latest film, which turned out to be a good hit at the box office. The makers faced significant pressure to postpone the release, as Dulquer Salmaan's big-budget film, Lucky Baskhar, was also scheduled to release on the same day, October 31, 2024. However, Kiran Abbavaram and his team boldly stuck to their original date, confident in their product—and their gamble paid off.

KA's final box office collection details

The suspense thriller impressed audiences and delivered solid box-office collections from day one. KA grossed over ₹53 crore during its theatrical run. Made on a modest budget of ₹10 crore, the film recovered most of its investment through its OTT deal. ETV Win acquired the digital rights for a premium price and is set to stream the film starting November 28, 2024. 

Since family audiences did not turn up in large numbers to watch the film in theaters, the makers are optimistic that KA will gain more traction and draw significant views on its OTT release. The movie, a period drama, features Tanvi Ram and Nayan Sarika as the female leads.

The story revolves around a postmaster who is assigned to a remote village, only to uncover hidden truths haunting the community. How he unravels the mystery and resolves the chaos form the crux of the film. Directed by the young duo Sujith and Suman, and co-produced by Kiran Abbavaram himself, the movie has been praised for its direction, visuals, performances, and thrilling moments.
