Akhanda was a blockbuster at the box office and made history within Telugu cinema. Now, after several years, the sequel is being helmed by Boyapati Srinu. The filming of the movie is approaching its conclusion, and Sanjay Dutt will portray the primary antagonist.

As the promotional activities for the film are about to commence soon, we have discovered that the producers have set June 10, 2025, as the date for the teaser launch. There is tremendous excitement surrounding this project, as Sri Rama Rajyam and Simha actor Balakrishna is collaborating with Boyapati Srinu for the fourth time. Their earlier three partnerships, Simha, Legend, and Akhanda, were all highly successful at the box office.

June 10 is particularly significant, as it coincides with the birthday of Nandamuri Balakrishna, who has previously delivered major hits such as Ruler, Paisa Vasool, and Dictator. Pragya Jaiswal stars as the female lead in this film, which serves as a sequel to Akhanda. The venture is being financed by the 14 Reels Plus banner with a substantial budget, and sources indicate that Balakrishna has received an impressive Rs 30 crore as his fee.

Once more, Balakrishna will appear in a dual role, with one being an Aghora character, a depiction that stood out significantly in the previous installment. Boyapati Srinu, recognized for movies such as Legend and Sarrainodu, is the sole director who has effectively highlighted Balakrishna in an unprecedented manner.

Thaman is responsible for the music composition for this movie. In several interviews, he has expressed that the film is developing excellently and assures that Balayya fans will be delighted to see their demigod on the big screen.
