After Chandu Champion's release, Kartik Aaryan has this to say about box office numbers

Kartik Aaryan is presently enjoying the overwhelming response to his film Chandu Champion. The actor essayed the lead role in Kabir Khan's film, based on Murlikant Petkar's life. He is India's first Paralympic gold medalist. After the film was released in theatres on June 14, Kartik opened up about the box office figures. In an interview with Free Press Journal, the Bollywood actor said box office numbers won't matter, but he is sure that the movie will inspire millions of people.

Speaking with the publication, Kartik Aaryan said Chandu Champion isn't big for him in terms of scale or stature. The actor added his character in the film has been the toughest role of his career. He hoped that people would remember this role in his filmography.
"It’s the story that is the need of the hour. The film will inspire millions of people to achieve their dreams. I feel, such a character comes rarely in life. Box office numbers won’t matter," he said.
When Kartik was further asked if the box office bothers him, the actor said that makers want films to be profitable. "I am okay with whatever the numbers are but it should be profitable to my producers. Since my producers, exhibitors are making money out of my films, my job is done," added Aaryan.

Meanwhile, Chandu Champion is Kartik's first theatrical release of this year. As the film is now released in theatres, Kartik will shift his focus back to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's shoot. As per Hindustan Times, the actor will be heading to Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, by the month-end. He will be resuming the shoot with his co-star Triptii Dimri.
Once the MP schedule is completed, another schedule has been planned before the shoot wraps up. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled for a theatrical release on Diwali this year. It will clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again at the box office.
