Asif Ali’s latest film, Adios Amigo, will be available on the digital space soon. The makers have confirmed the comedy drama, which also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead role, will be streaming on Netflix from September 6.

Adios Amigo to stream on Netflix

Netflix purchased the digital streaming rights to the Nahas Nazar-directed movie prior to its theatrical debut. Moviegoers and fans of both the actors are looking forward to the film's digital release after an decent theatrical run. Starting on September 6, the movie will be accessible on the platform in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. 

Asif Ali's two most recent films, Kasargold and A Ranjith Cinema, are also accessible for streaming on the same OTT platform. The actor's other latest film, Thalavan, is also all set to make its digital debut. The investigative thriller, which is directed by Jis Joy, will be available on SonyLIV from September 10.

Adios Amigo praised for its light-hearted narrative

The film was originally scheduled to premiere in theatres on August 2, but it was postponed mourning all the people who lost their lives in the Wayanad landslides in July. The film centres on two unlikely people who meet, travel together, and eventually become friends, according to the teaser. Suraj Venjaramoodu portrays a man who is struggling in terms of money, while Asif Ali plays a happy man with a stable financial background.

Following their reunion, they embark on an impromptu journey that leads to a number of amusing mishaps. According to the two-minute trailer, the movie is about their friendship, adventure, and unforeseen obstacles. Shine, Anagha The supporting cast includes Tom Chacko, Ganapathy, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph, Muthumani, and Riaa Saira.

The movie's story takes place in Thiruvananthapuram. The film, which is being advertised as a full-fledged comedic drama, was written by Thankam. The movie has received financial support from Ashiq Usman.
