Aay is a film that had Jr NTR's brother-in-law Narne Nithin in a lead role. The village drama was released alongside two biggies, Mr. Bachchan and Double Ismart which came out on August 15, 2024. As both the films ended as massive flops, Aay gained momentum from the second day of its release.

The makers also did not leave any stone unturned and brought in the likes of Jr NTR and Allu Arjun to promote the film. Aay did not have any morning shows on the days of its release due to other biggies. Once the euphoria of the two biggies came down, Aay was released from the 4 PM shows in Telugu states.

This worked big time in the favor of the film and the success is there for us all to see. Aay ended as a smash hit and Netflix bagged the digital rights for a fancy price. The makers have solid profits with this OTT deal and now the latest update is that Aay has landed on Netflix and is streaming from September 12, 2024.

Written and directed by Anji K, this film had Nayan Sarika and Rajkumar Kasireddy in key roles. The comedy evoked by Rajkumar Kasireddy won the hearts of many. Aay is set in the Godavari region and is about a man who is rejected just ahead of the wedding by his girlfriend as he belongs to a different caste. How the man played by Narne Nithin wins the love of his girlfriend and marries her again is the basic story of the film.

Allu Arjun's production house, Geetha Arts bankrolled the film and GA 2 banner. Bunny Vas produced the film which had music by Ram Miryala. The film's female lead, Nayan Sarika is also in the news as he new web series, Bench Life is now streaming on Sony Liv. We need to see how Aay performs in the days to come.
