Aamir Khan's film Andaz Apna Apna, released in 1994, has garnered a reputation as a cult classic over the years. Despite its eventual acclaim, the film, which also features Salman Khan, did not receive a warm reception during its initial theatrical run. At the recent India Today Conclave 2025, Aamir Khan shared insights regarding the difficulties he encountered during the filming of Andaz Apna Apna. He disclosed that his co-stars, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor, were not on amicable terms throughout the production, which posed challenges for the team.

Aamir Khan expressed that he had a 'lovely time' working on Andaz Apna Apna, yet he faced difficulties as he was the only actor who consistently arrived on time for the shoots. He recounted that whenever Karisma arrived for filming, Raveena would leave, stating, "The film was made with great difficulty."

The actor from Andaz Apna Apna further stated, "I am uncertain whether I should disclose this. There was a conflict between Raveena and Karisma. I often pondered how the film would reach its conclusion. The cast was unable to shoot together." 

Despite these difficulties, Aamir maintained a strong belief in the film due to its 'quirky' and 'eccentric' nature. Regrettably, Khan's collaboration with Salman Khan did not last in theaters for even a week. "I was bewildered, as I considered it to be an excellent film. However, I now recognize it as the leading film in home entertainment. Every generation has experienced it, and every generation desires to watch it," he remarked.
