Dulquer Salmaan has emerged as a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, with his popularity soaring to unprecedented levels following the remarkable success of his recent film, Lucky Baskhar, which earned over Rs 100 crore at the box office. This significant achievement has further intensified the fervor surrounding Dulquer's stardom.

Dulquer Salmaan's new Telugu film gets launched

He is presently engaged in the production of a multilingual film alongside Rana Daggubati, set to be released in both Tamil and Telugu. Previously, OTTplay was the first to announce that Dulquer Salmaan had committed to the upcoming project of emerging director Pawan Sadineni. 

Entitled Aakasam Lo Oka Tara, this film represents a distinctive endeavour by the director, aiming to deliver a compelling narrative interwoven with elements of romance and fiction. The project was officially inaugurated today, February 2, through a modest Pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad.

The locking of the script signifies a significant advancement towards the production phase. The ceremony was understated, with director Pawan Sadineni personally presenting the script to the production team. Aakasam Lo Oka Tara will feature Dulquer Salmaan in an entirely fresh role.

Swapan Cinem and Geetha Arts to jointly produce Dulquer Salmaan's film

According to reports, he was greatly impressed by Pawan’s storytelling, leading him to promptly approve the project. A notable aspect of Aakasam Lo Oka Tara is that it is being presented on a grand scale by the esteemed production companies Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema.

The filming is set to begin shortly, and it has been confirmed that Satvika Veeravalli will portray the female lead. This film, produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam, is scheduled for a pan-India release next year.

Although details regarding the plot remain scarce, fans of Dulquer are keenly anticipating the vision that director Pawan Sadineni will bring to the project. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
