A Virtuous Business ending explained: Breaking stereotypes to fly high
1 month ago | 5 Views
A Virtuous Business got a fitting end for the show it is. The series, featuring Yoon Woo-jin and Kim So-yeon in the lead roles, has a happy ending, which is high on hope. While the story is still relevant in the society, the ending, even if slightly unrealistic, sends a good message.
Getting back up after hitting rock bottom
Both the leads hit rock bottom both personally and professionally. Do-hyeon (Woo-jin) just got comfortable around his mother but had relocated for cold cases. He excelled in finding his own mother despite the tough circumstances, leading to him being transferred.
Meanwhile, Jeong-suk (Kim So-yeon) got to know that their business was actually a scam and that they cannot continue with the job anymore since they won't receive a pay. The women, nonetheless, stand stronger together.
Four years later, Jeong-suk starts the business by herself. She has the support of her women as well as Do-hyeon.
A love story for each woman
Every woman got her happy ending since they found a person who loves them and supports them through all of it. Jeong-suk has Do-hyeon, he has his mother Geum-hee (Kim Sung-ryung) and step-father Won-bong (Kim Won-hae) by his side. Ju-ri (Lee Se-hee) and Dae-geun (Kim Jung-jin), as well as Yeong-bok (Kim Sun-young) and Jong-sun (Im Chul-soo) pass the test of time and inaugurate the store together.
A hope to keep flying high
Even today, the society looks down on discussing about adult products in public. The series often saw protests against those who sold such products. Jeong-suk and the women made their whole livelihood by selling these products. They understand that it is important to spice up a love life, but the society has still not been able to accept it. This is shown in the series too, and Jeong-suk is ready to fight them with hopes that they will fight everyone and continue to fly high.
