Disney Plus has clarified things following a report from Star News stating that production for A Shop For Killers season 2 is officially confirmed, with filming set to kick off in April 2025.

A Shop For Killers director Lee Kwon is totally open to the idea of a season 2

Lee Kwon was asked about the sequel to the series back in March 2024 when Disney Plus revealed its lineup. He didn’t dismiss the idea but admitted he was having a hard time figuring out how to continue the story from season 1. For now, fans are just thrilled to see Dong-wook as Jeong Jin-man in season 1, though they definitely want more of their favorite oppa.

A Shop For Killers is adapted from a novel of the same name and premiered on January 17, 2024. In the drama, Dong-wook plays the uncle of Kim Hye-jun's character, Jeong Ji-an. The show was a hit not just in Korea but also around the world. It also featured Park Ji-bin, Geum Hae-na, Seo Hyun-woo, and Jo Han-sun in key roles.
