He stated, “I met Amrita, affectionately known as Dingy by her close friends, when I was merely 12 years old. She starred in a film for @dharmamovies alongside my father titled Duniya, and I distinctly recall her elegance, vitality, and mastery in front of the camera. However, what stands out most in my memory is the delightful Chinese dinner we shared, accompanied by her hairstylist, after our initial encounter, followed by a James Bond film! From our very first meeting, she embraced me as if I were her own, exemplifying the essence of her grace—an essence that continues to resonate through her children.”

Karan Johar elaborated, “My initial encounter with Saif took place in Anand Mahendru’s office—he was young, sophisticated, charismatic, and effortlessly charming. This experience mirrored my first meeting with Ibrahim. A robust friendship has flourished from our generation to, fortunately, our children! I have been acquainted with this family for four decades and have collaborated with them in various roles—Duniya and 2 States alongside Amrita, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kurbaan with Saif, and of course, Simmba with Sara, with many more projects on the horizon! This family is deeply rooted in cinema; it is ingrained in their essence, their lineage, and their fervor. Now, we are poised to embrace a new wave of talent.
