In the sneak peek for Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 5, we pick up right where Episode 4 left off, with Cha Hae-in discovering that Sung Jin-woo is venturing into the unexplored parts of the dungeon. After a quick romantic scene, Jinwoo dives into a risky mission. He finds himself back in the thick of battle, and things are about to get even more intense, especially with some nostalgic feelings creeping in.

The short-lived love story between Jinwoo and Cha Hae-in

Even though Jinwoo and Cha Hae-in are right outside the lair of the A-rank monster, they don’t actually run into it. Instead, they share a moment together. It’s during this time that she starts to develop feelings for him, drawn in by his nice scent. Now, she’s curious about Jinwoo and wants to learn more about him.

Jinwoo embarks on a risky mission and runs into Karlgargan

Jinwoo steps into another mission as an 'E-rank hunter' and faces a ton of challenges that even A-rank hunters struggle with. But the toughest part for him is the memories of his first hunt and the comfort it gave him. This time, everything feels different. The A-rank hunters are prepared to risk it all and urge Jinwoo to reach out to the Guild to shut the gates and prevent any more casualties. "This is what we’ve been training for," they remind him.

Jinwoo taking on Karlgalgan next?

Jinwoo, while understanding the choice made, isn't one to just walk away. After taking down a bunch of S-rank monsters (mostly by softening them up for his team), he’s now facing off against Kargalgan, the Master of Curses, in Solo Leveling season 2 episode 6. On a cool note, Jinwoo’s potential love interest, Cha Hae-in, is on the hunt for him and is probably going to jump into the fray soon. This will mark the first time they fight side by side as a couple in the making.
