Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte is one of the most popular and acclaimed Bollywood movies that is still loved by fans. The mystery thriller completed six years of release today, October 5, 2024. On the special occasion, Ayushmann and Tabu dropped special posts on their social media accounts. In the comment sections, fans expressed their demand for the film's sequel which only proves the film has not lost its aura among entertainment lovers. 

Andhadhun completes 6 years of release

A while ago, Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram handle and shared an animated version video consisting of some pivotal characters and symbols in the film Andhadhun. The song Laila Laila can be heard playing in the background. The text in the video reads, “Celebrating six years of Andhadhun.”

Sharing the post, he captioned it, “6 saal ho gaye, par yeh suspense abhi tak zinda hai! (6 years have passed, but this suspense is still alive). #6YearsOfAndhadhun #SriramRaghavan @tabutiful @radhikaofficial @matchboxpix @zeemusiccompany.”

Fans demand Andhadhun sequel

Reacting to their posts, one fan wrote, “Suspense khtam kar do Andhadhun Chapter II mein (Finish the suspense in Andhadhun Chapter 2).” Another fan said, “Deserve a Sequel,” while a third user wrote, “Second part waiting me…” One of the comments also read, “Mind Blowing Movie Ever,” and another shared, “rightly bagged the NATIONAL AWARD.”

For the unversed, Andhadhun lifted three National Film Awards. It bagged the Best Hindi Feature Film and Best Screenplay, while Ayushmann Khurrana secured Best Actor.

Andhadhun story

The plot follows Akash, a piano player pretending to be visually impaired. He unwittingly becomes entangled in several problems as he witnesses the murder of a former film actor.

Andhadhun aptly showcases the story that keeps audiences guessing and struggling with the confusion till the end. A layer of uncertainty is introduced that hints at the possibility that Akash may be fabricating the entire narrative.
