Arjun Janya, the renowned composer of Kannada cinema, unveiled the first teaser for his directorial debut, titled 45, in celebration of Ugadi. The selection of prominent actors such as Shivarajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B Shetty has generated significant anticipation for the film right from the start. With the release of a few brief visuals, the excitement and curiosity surrounding the project have reached new heights. Although Arjun has disclosed limited information about the film, he acknowledges that the color palette chosen for the three lead characters plays a crucial role in the storytelling.

Shivarajkumar's initial scene features him emerging from a vibrant yellow haze, while Upendra is enveloped in red, and Raj presents a blend of greyish tones. Following this, Shivarajkumar delivers a narration emphasizing that the love one expresses for a departed individual should be conveyed while they are still living. This is accompanied by a reimagined version of the song from Om, featuring new lyrics that state, "I’ll kill him, you must save him." Although Arjun reveals very little about the film, he acknowledges that the integration of philosophy with entertainment is central to the storyline.

The visuals, particularly the VFX sequences created by a Canadian company, undoubtedly stood out as the most impressive aspect of the teaser. The composer and filmmaker explained that the film's title reflects the narrative's 45-day timeframe. He further disclosed that the film combines modern storytelling with the philosophical principles of Sanatana Dharma, integrating mythology with contemporary themes while avoiding a didactic tone. He emphasized that entertainment is the primary focus.

Arjun explained to the media that the purpose of the teaser was to generate curiosity, and he has certainly achieved that goal. The film "45" was completed by Shivarajkumar prior to his departure to the United States for cancer treatment last year. However, it is scheduled for theatrical release only in August due to the significant post-production efforts needed. According to Arjun, approximately 40% of the film's visuals will feature VFX. The movie will be available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
