Arjun Janya, a well-known composer in the Kannada film industry, is set to make his directorial debut with the film titled 45, which is scheduled for release on Independence Day 2025. The movie features prominent actors such as Century Star Shivarajkumar, Real Star Upendra, and Raj B Shetty in leading roles. Details about the film have been kept largely confidential, but this secrecy is expected to lift soon, as Arjun is preparing to unveil the first teaser to the audience.

Teaser Release for Ugadi  

The team has chosen to launch the teaser for 45 during the auspicious festival of Ugadi, which falls on March 30 at 6:45 PM. Produced by Ramesh Reddy and based on a story crafted by Arjun, 45 is anticipated to be an action-comedy. To convey his vision for the film, Arjun developed an animated narrative that he shared with the producer and the cast.

The film had its official premiere in April 2023 and concluded filming in September 2024, coinciding with the period when the lead actor, Shivarajkumar, began chemotherapy as part of his bladder cancer treatment. Notably, the Century Star managed to film action sequences to finalize the project, despite experiencing fatigue from the treatment regimen.

Shivarajkumar was resolute in completing the film, enabling Arjun to proceed with post-production smoothly before travelling to the United States for surgery to remove and replace the cancerous bladder.

The film 45 was the final project Shivarajkumar worked on before his trip to the US. He took a break from the still-untitled #Shivanna131, while all other engagements, including those related to Ram Charan’s upcoming project and Hemanth M Rao’s direction, were deferred. After a successful surgery and a two-month recovery period, Shivarajkumar returned to filming in early March, with #Shivanna131 and RC16 as his primary focuses. There are also rumours of his involvement in Jailer 2.
