Sushant Divgikr recently starred in director Vishal Furia's web show, 36 Days. It was the Indian remake of the UK series 35 Days. Duvgikr played the role of a performer Tara in the series, which premiered on SonyLIV and (on OTTplay Premium) on July 12, 2024. Written by Anahata Menon and Seneca Mendonsa, 36 Days also featured Chandan Roy Sanyal in a pivotal role. A new promo of the series highlights Sushant's character Tara's on-screen equation with Chandan's Tony.

SonyLIV dropped a character promo of Sushant Divgikr aka Tara on Instagram. The promo highlights Tara being a performer, who is trying to build a new life. However, Chandan Roy Sanyal's Tony, a real estate mogul, hates her. While sharing this promo on the gram, the streamer wrote, "There is no love lost between Tara and Tony, but how far will this hatred lead them? What dangerous consequences will it lead to? Find out in '36 Days', streaming now on Sony LIV (sic)."

A few days ago, Sushant spoke about working in 36 Days and portraying the character of Tara. Divgikr said that it was an amazing experience to be able to play a singer and performer who has faced many struggles. "But Tara still has some secrets that they are hiding, and we know that secrets are injurious to health, but they’re also extremely fun," added the 36 Days actor.

Chandan Roy Sanyal on hate for Sushant's character

Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Chandan Roy Sanyal stated it was difficult for him to bring out the emotion of disgust for Sushant's character Tara in 36 Days. "It was Sushant's constant assurance that helped me push through—he reminded me that people outside are far worse than what Tony does to Tara," revealed Chandan.
