The makers of the upcoming Telugu film, 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu, have dropped its trailer today (September 1). The film, which is directed by debutant Nanda Kishore Emani, stars Nivetha Thomas as the main lead.
Trailer of 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu
The trailer showcases a middle-class family's life with a great deal of charming visuals. The story takes place in the Tirupati temple town. The family's provider is Vishwadev Rachakonda, while Nivetha Thomas plays a young mother of two who takes care of her children at home. In one scene, Nivetha is seen being asked by Gauthami's character if she does not want to be self-reliant and live her life on her terms, much like the women of today.
While everything appears to be going smoothly, issues between the couple arise when their son, Arun, consistently does poorly academically and the school repeatedly expresses unwillingness to continue teaching him. It is implied that Priyadarshi is a mathematics teacher who keeps calling Arun a 'zero'. The boy can also be seen termed as a backbencher in his class.
The husband is also heard complaining to his wife for their son's subpar academic standing. Even if the trailer has its share of humorous moments, talking about such a sensitive topic eventually becomes poignant. Overall, this trailer has realistic scenes that are aimed at a family audience.
35-Chinna Katha Kaadu release date
The small-budget family entertainer was slated to have a theatrical release on August 15. However, the producers decided to postpone the movie since Mr Bachchan and Double Ismart, hit the big screens on the same day. Currently, the markers have chosen to have the movie released on September 6. Tamil actors, Bhagyaraj and Gautami, are present in this movie. Under the auspices of Suresh Productions, S Originals, and Waltair Productions, Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarabolu, and Siddharth Rallapalli have bankrolled 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu.
