Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai plot overview
Preeti Vyas (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), a witness to a horrific attack on a person who owes money to Bhavani Choudhry (Mukesh Rishi) and his thugs, is both innocent and courageous. Arrested and incarcerated, Bhavani awaits trial. This enrages the Choudhry clan. Threats of severe repercussions led the victim to withdraw the complaint, resulting in Bhavani's freedom and the dismissal of the charges. Then his brother Babloo (Puru Raaj Kumar) rapes Preeti, and her own family abandons her after that. Avinash (Anil Kapoor), a fellow humanitarian, takes her in and provides her with a safe haven at his apartment. However, this is not the end of the story; the neighbours quickly become enraged and demand that she vacate the premises. After agreeing to marry Avinash, Preeti learns that he has two children who call him "daddy," but she has no idea if he is married or if there is another lady involved. The police subsequently apprehend Preeti on prostitution charges, following a report lodged by none other than Avinash's father (Anang Desai).
Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai featured an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Johnny Lever, Jaspal Bhatti, Himani Shivpuri, Isha Talwar as a child artist, Tannaz Irani, and Smita Jaykar.
Isha Talwar's memorable on-set experience with Anil Kapoor
Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Talwar recalled being on the sets. Even though her time on set was brief, one particular incident stuck with the young actor. She vividly remembers witnessing Kapoor's dedication to his acting career. Talwar recalled that he would want 45 takes. While filming a particularly violent shot that required him to scream, she remarked that she was in awe of his dedication. Even though Talwar didn't quite understand his technique back then, she still remembers the encounter vividly.
