Tourist Family is an upcoming Tamil film starring Sasikumar, Simran and others. The teaser of the film was released some time back, to a positive reception, with cinema lovers waiting for the film’s release. While the makers are yet to announce the release date of the film, a first review of Tourist Family just dropped on social media.

It was previously reported that Simran and Sasikumar will collaborate for the first time in the forthcoming Tamil film titled Tourist Family. The teaser for the film was released recently, and its detailed preview has captivated online audiences, who are eagerly anticipating its premiere.

Although there has been no new official announcement regarding the film, we have come across the initial review of Tourist Family, which is filled with commendations. Vinoth CJ, who viewed the film, shared his thoughts on the Tourist Family.

"I had the opportunity to watch #TouristFamily — what an incredible entertainer. I cannot recall the last time I experienced such a range of emotions—laughter, tears, and deep feelings—all within a single film. Director Abi has crafted a timeless piece that honours the resilience of humanity. I am immensely proud and delighted for my friend @Yuvrajganesan for producing this remarkable work," he posted on X.

All we know about Tourist Family

Tourist Family has completed its filming and is now in the post-production phase. The film is anticipated to premiere in the summer of 2025. This project marks the directorial debut of Abishan Jeevinth, who has both written and directed the film, which is expected to be a family drama. Following the success of Kudumbasthan, another family-oriented film, Tourist Family is poised to contribute to the ongoing exploration of this genre within Tamil cinema.

The cast of Tourist Family features notable actors including Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi. The film is produced by Nazareth Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banners of Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment.
