Sathyam Sundaram is the Telugu version of Meiyazhagan which was released recently in theatres. The film stars Karthi and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles. Directed by Prem Kumar of 96 fame, Sathyam Sundaram is about a man (Arvind Swamy) who goes back to his hometown to attend a wedding. The journey is a bittersweet memory as he revisits the land that once had his family home, as he meets a relative of his (Karthi) who he does not recognize.
