Meiyazhagan trailer review

The 2.44-minute-long trailer of Meiyazhan begins with the visuals of Arun, the character played by Arvind Swami, who is advised by his partner to visit his native and ancestral home. Even though Arun loves the place dearly, he is constantly running away from his past, due to unknown reasons. However, he meets the character played by Karthi, an innocent small-town man in his native, and he becomes his best friend. The excellent camaraderie shared by Arvind Swami and Karthi is the best part of the Meiyazhagan trailer.

The well-show night scene, in which the protagonists are seen jamming to vintage Tamil songs, and the pond scene suggests that the Tamil cinema audiences are in for an extremely heartwarming cinematic experience, with C Prem Kumar’s film. But the trailer brings in its strong emotional core with a question asked by Karthi’s character, that turns the duo’s lives upside down. The emotional connection built by the Meiyazhagan trailer is further strengthened by the soulful voice of Kamal Haasan, who turned playback singer for the film.

Govind Vasantha’s exceptional background score is the heart and soul of the Meiyazhagan trailer. Mahendiran Jayaraju’s stunning visuals have created the perfect backdrop for the film, which is set in the backdrop of a Tamil Nadu village. Along with Karthi and Arvind Swami, the trailer also marks the powerful presence of actors including Raj Kiran, Sri Divya, Devadarshini, and others. The C Prem Kumar directorial is produced by Jyotika and Suriya, under the banner 2D Entertainment.
