Lucky Baskhar Trailer Review

The 2.33-minute-long trailer of Lucky Baskhar takes an interesting turn after its first act, which showcases Dulquer Salmaan in a simple family man avatar. In the beginning, titular character Baskhar, who lives in ‘borderline poverty’, introduces his small family. But, things take a different turn suddenly, and the ‘perfect’ protagonist is seen choosing extreme measures to make money and provide a comfortable life for his family. Later, he is seen getting caught up in intoxication that money brings to his life.

Dulquer Salmaan shines in the Lucky Baskhar trailer as the simple family man, who has a dark side unknown to the rest of the world. From the trailer, it is safe to assume that the pan-Indian star’s performance is going to be the best part of the Venky Atluri directorial. GV Prakash Kumar scores with the immersive background score. The stunning visuals by Nimish Ravi and excellent production design by Banglan and team, suggest that the movie is going to be a perfect theatrical experience.

Meenakshi Chaudhary appears in the role of Sumati, Baskhar’s love interest-turned-wife, in Lucky Baskhar. From the trailer, it is safe to assume that the young actress is playing a performance-oriented role in the film. Sai Kumar, Ramki, Hyper Aadi, and Surya Sreenivas appear in the supporting role. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs and the original score. Nimish Ravi is the director of photography. Naveen Nooli handles the editing. Lucky Baskhar is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
