Kishore (SP Charan) and Siddu (Sri Harsha) form a devoted father-son pair renowned for their altruistic efforts towards orphans. Kishore even takes it upon himself to perform last rites for unclaimed corpses, financing this endeavor from his own resources. To support this noble mission, Kishore engages in horse-race betting, where he consistently emerges victorious. However, allegations arise suggesting that his winnings are a result of administering steroids to the horses, revealing a significant scam behind his purported charitable actions. A formidable businessman, Kabir (Nawab Shah), is implicated in this conspiracy. The film explores Kabir's motives for targeting Kishore and Siddu, as well as how the duo navigates their challenges.

Directed by Pawan Ketharaju, Love Your Father weaves a mythological setting with a father-son narrative and elements of revenge. Initially, the premise appears captivating and is effectively established within the film. However, the primary conflict takes an extended period to materialize, with the central plot only gaining traction fifteen minutes before the intermission. Following this point, the film accelerates and offers several compelling moments.

Had the director chosen to shorten the less engaging college scenes, the film could have been significantly more captivating. The introduction of Aghoras and their relevance to the main plot in the latter half is intriguing and enriches the storyline. Notably, the Kashi segment emerges as a highlight, providing well-crafted psychological thrills. Once the revenge narrative commences, director Pawan Ketharaju skillfully builds tension between the protagonist and antagonist, ensuring the audience remains engaged.

The emotional connection between the father and son could have been delved into more thoroughly. The film concludes on a poignant note, effectively resolving all the intertwined storylines. However, the effort to enhance commercial appeal through an overabundance of comedy proves counterproductive, as many of the comedic scenes disrupt the narrative flow. Although the revenge theme serves as the film's primary strength, it is occasionally overshadowed by the mythological aspects. A greater emphasis on intensifying the revenge plot, rather than prolonging certain scenes, would have resulted in a more powerful impact.

Regarding performances, SP Charan, returning to Telugu cinema after a significant break, delivers a nuanced and engaging portrayal of the father. While he initially appears somewhat rustic, he excels during the emotional scenes. Sriharsh, making his Telugu debut, impresses, particularly in his interactions with SP Charan, which are well-executed. Nawab Shah, a veteran Hindi actor, plays a significant role as Kabir and makes a memorable impact with his strong screen presence.

On the technical front, the editing could benefit from being more concise, as approximately fifteen minutes from the first half could be cut. The production values are commendable, with the mythological elements enhanced by striking cinematography. The songs are satisfactory, although the background score can be excessively loud at times. The production design is robust, but some dialogues tend to be overly dramatic.

"Love Your Father" combines elements of thrill, emotion, and revenge drama into a cohesive narrative. While the film begins slowly, it eventually establishes a rhythm that captures the audience's attention. With fewer drawn-out sequences and better-placed comedic moments, this film could have delivered a more profound experience.
